Ebikes are confusing, aren’t they? Bikes are complicated enough but add in electric motors, batteries, and enough cabling to go around the world, and things get even trickier to understand.

So, with BicycleVolt, we have three main aims when it comes to ebikes:

• Demystify them (understanding how they work)
• Simplify them (understanding how to choose them and what to do with them)
• Fun-ify them (because life shouldn’t be so damned serious, you know?)
